Mandala Painted Mugs and Cards with Mandalove by Nelly

join us to make two beautiful mandala mugs with your own designs. One for you, one for him/ her! And design your very own handmade Valentines card to go with the mug!

Imagine making a lovely cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows on top and serving it in cups designed by you on the morning of Valentine’s day. And to top it all off you’ll hand over your handmade card as well of course.

What you’ll get:

– 2 blank mugs to paint

– 1 blank greeting card to decorate (if we’ll have time to make more cards you can design more)

– 2 packs of hot chocolate with marshmallows- to make at home

The workshop:

We’ll be using quality enamel glass paints in various colours. The painted mugs will be dishwasher safe (top shelf) after curing them in the oven. (Instructions will be given)

In this 3 hour workshop I’ll teach you how to use the dotting tools and how to make these beautiful and unique patterns freehand, without the help of a stencil.

And now the greeting card making part:

You can use a large choice of paper punches, creative edge craft scissors and you can try gold leafing as well. You’ll be able to choose from a great selection of blank greeting cards in various sizes and colours. There will be inks and stamps, a huge variety of colouring pencils, stickers and patterned paper. I have lots of washi tapes for card decorating too! You don’t know what they are? Come and find out! You’ll love them!
