Originally from Australia, Amanda has been living in the UK for over 30 years. She has always loved lettering and, as a self-taught artist, has spent many years developing her own creative style and started her business Just Add Chalk.

During Covid, Amanda discovered a new love for window art. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion, and she now decorates local businesses around Leek throughout the year, with her window art being especially popular at Christmas.

Her love of lettering has also led to creating beautiful, personalised wedding signs for local venues, as well as notebooks, prints and cards featuring her original designs. More recently, Amanda has created a collection of window art PDF templates, making it easy for people to have a go at creating their own window art at home.

With her passion for lettering and love of sharing creativity, Amanda is delighted to now be bringing her workshops to Cabbage Rose, where she can help others discover the joy of lettering and create something beautiful of their own.
