Description:

You will learn about paints and inks to create individual pieces of painted fabrics, lace or netting using acrylic paints and inks to incorporate with other fabrics to create your own unique  background all ready for embellishment.

Helen will show you some basic embroidery stitches along with numerous textured wools, trimmings, buttons, sequins and beads to help you create different textures to bring your piece to life.

You will create a personally designed, unique piece of mixed media artwork.

Join us for a lovely and relaxing day to spend stitching and chatting with new friends.

The Cabbage Rose workshop is on the First Floor of the Foxlowe Arts Centre, there is no lift available.

Refreshments, biscuits and cake are available throughout the day, however please bring a packed lunch, or there is the Foxlowe Cafe which will be open which is also an option for lunch.
