Krafty Kids Workshop – Glow in the dark mandala painting with MandaLove by Nelly

Would you like to paint with some cool glow in the dark paint? Come and paint a mandala with us! We had such a fantastic time last time! 🙂

Where: The Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek, Cabbage Rose Workshops  (Upstairs, turn left after the office and follow the signs on the corridor to the end)

When: Thursday, 7th August, Saturday, 10-12 noon.

This workshop is great for children aged 6-18.

We’ll be using a 20×20 cm pre-painted canvas for the mandala. (You can pick your favourite colour!) You’ll be drawing a little ‘spider web’ with the help of a stencil that’ll help you keep the circular shape of the mandala. We’ll practice using the dotting tools with paint and when you’re ready we’ll start painting. Even though we’re using paint it’s completely different from painting with a brush. There will be lots of colours to choose from and there will be 3 different colours of glow in the dark paints as well: Blue, green and pink. You’ll have great fun applying these paints. You’ll learn a completely different art form. If you love painting you should try using these unique dotting tools!
