Krafty Kids Club- Family Mandala painting workshop

Where: The Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek, Cabbage Rose Workshops (Upstairs, turn left after the office and follow the signs through the corridor all the way to the end.)

Would you like to paint with some cool glow in the dark paint? Come and paint a mandala with us! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with your child through arts and crafts led by a professional mandala artist.

Where: The Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek, Cabbage Rose Workshops  (Upstairs, turn left after the office and follow the signs on the corridor to the end)

When: Tuesday, 28th October, 10-12.

We’ll be using a 20×20 cm pre-painted canvas for the mandala. (You can pick your favourite colour!) You’ll be drawing a little ‘spider web’ with the help of a stencil that’ll help you keep the circular shape of the mandala. We’ll practice using the dotting tools with paint and when you’re ready, we’ll start painting. Even though we’re using acrylic paint it’s completely different from painting with a brush. There will be lots of colours to choose from and there will be 3 different colours of glow in the dark paints as well: Blue, green and pink. You’ll have great fun applying these paints. You’ll learn a completely different art form. If you love painting you should try using these unique dotting tools!
