Thumb Pot Monsters

Squish it, shape it, and bring your very own clay monster to life!

Join us for a wonderfully messy and imaginative clay workshop where we’ll be transforming balls of air-dry clay into quirky thumb pot monsters bursting with personality.

Using your thumbs, you’ll learn how to create a hollow clay pot before discovering how to add eyes, teeth, tongues, horns, spikes, feet and all sorts of silly monster features. We’ll also learn how to use slip and score techniques to securely attach extra clay pieces, and decorate your creation with textures and patterns.

Will your monster be friendly, funny, cheeky, pretty or a little bit grumpy? The choice is yours!

A fun-filled, hands-on workshop packed with creativity, imagination and plenty of monster-making magic!

Children 6 years or under must be accompanied by an adult please. All materials and light refreshments are included.
