Intermediate Sewing workshop (suitable if you have basic knowledge or have done the beginners workshop)
In this workshop you will learn more advanced sewing skills and techniques, to enable you to work on projects at home including dress-making.
We will cover a variety of sewing exercises on sample pieces building up a sample file for you to keep and use as a reference.
In this workshop we will cover working with curtain tape and curtain finishes including mitred corners, darts, zips, waistbands, inserting a pocket and we will touch on facings, various zip finishes and linings. We will look at bias binding finishes, buttonholes, adding embellishments, we will cover up cycling and simple alterations to garments.
You will then have the option of sewing a zipped toiletry bag or shower bag or designing an item you would like to sew.
Skills level: Suitable if you have basic knowledge or have done the beginners sewing workshop)
Sewing machines and all materials provided.

All materials, equipment, and sewing machines are provided.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided by The Foxlowe Café.
