Gelli-plate printing is a delightful and creative way to produce unique, one-off monoprints without the use of a printing press.

It is a popular technique for creators of all skill levels, offering endless possibilities for texture, layering and design.

A gelli-plate is made from a soft and flexible gelatin-like materials that allows imprints to be formed on its surface.  By using a variety of patterned stencils, and textured materials you can create your own patterns and designs, trying them out on a selection of papers and calico pieces, before going on to then use your ideas to create your own unique tote bag.

if you prefer to put your favourite print into a frame, frames will be available to purchase.

Your gelli-prints can also be incorporated into mixed media projects adding texture and depth to collages.
