SARAH MYATT GLASS
Sarah graduated in 2000 from the University of Wolverhampton with a
2:1 BA (Hons) in 3D Glass Design. Having learnt many different techniques, Sarah fell in love with kiln forming.
I love everything about glass: the huge array of colours and patterns,
the feel of glass and the way light can completely change a piece.
It can be quite an unpredictable material but it keeps you on your toes!
Sarah primarily uses Bullseye glass and loves the endless possibilities,
colour combinations and flexibility. A natural theme runs through my work and my range mainly consists of suncatchers that are perfect for windows, walls and
even the garden...Birds, Bees, Bunnies and much more besides!
I teach a variety of adult glass workshops at Cabbage Rose workshops in the Foxlowe Arts Centre, I am a regular trader at the Sunday Supplement in Leek, Staffordshire and also the Treacle Market in Macclesfield, Cheshire, I also sell from various galleries around the UK.
