Jo Gardiner Art
Jo studied Social Work at University and worked for many years supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse. I had always had artistic leanings and enjoyed using art as a wellbeing tool in the Women’s refuge’s I worked in.
About 10 years ago I started dabbling in Art a bit more seriously and the opportunity arose to share a studio space with a group of other creatives. . I don't limit myself to one particular medium however, fibre art/needle felting has become my main focus.
Since then, I have been lucky enough to make Art my full-time job and I sell my creations, cards and needle felting kits at various events and via my website. I also run creative workshops at Cabbage Rose in the Foxlowe Art Centre and a few other locations in Staffordshire and its surrounding counties.
