Caron set up and started running workshops in 2013 from the Cabbage Rose shop premises in St Edwards Street, Leek, later moving to the Foxlowe Arts Centre in 2018. 

Having studied design and patternmaking, she teaches adult and children’s sewing workshops, ranging from beginners to intermediate to themed workshops.  Caron started experimenting with other creative forms, and also teaches children’s creative workshops, along with working with schools. 

 

In her professional capacity, she works in the built environment and has also worked on large creative projects in various schools and with community groups around Staffordshire. Caron also holds an BA (Hons) Open in Art History, German and History.
