In this creative workshop you’ll have the chance to create a bespoke and beautiful mandala. Using the colours you resonate with and special dotting tools you’ll paint a mandala that is unique only to you.

Mandalas have been used for centuries for meditation, help with focusing and relaxation. The positive qualities of mandala painting or drawing are well known. If you need some time away from your busy life this is the workshop for you!

You’ll be provided with an abundance of beautiful colours, dotting tools and a pre-painted canvas of your choice. I will take you through step by step of using the dotting tools and creating beautiful patterns. You’ll go home with a mandala on a 20×20 cm canvas designed and painted by you.

These sessions are perfect for anyone that would love to dabble, learn a little more about water colours, or even for those already painting, who would enjoy painting in the company of like-minded people in a friendly, relaxed environment.
The sessions run from 6pm – 8pm
The price is £10
You will need to bring along water colour paints, brushes and paper. We will have some paints available for anyone that does not yet have the supplies.

The kids had great fun making their own watercolour paints last time so here it is again! Come and make some beautiful shiny watercolour paints from scratch! You’ll learn about the ingredients of metallic watercolour paint and how to use them. We’ll be making them in groups of two and you can try them out straight away and paint something beautiful! You’ll fill up little half pans with the paint made by you and you can take 5 colours home as well! You pick!

As it is close to Halloween you could paint some fantastic scary scenes or a scary pumpkin face as well.

And there will be biscuits and juice too! Yeeey!

It’s an easy, relaxing painting activity for children with stunning results every time! You’ll be picking out the stencils you’d like to use and decide on a selection of quality fabric paints as well. You’ll learn how to paint on fabric with the help of a stencil and if you want you can write on your t-shirt with colourful fabric pens as well. As we’re close to Halloween you can make up your own design as well!

And there will be biscuits and juice as well. Yeeey!!!

Join us for a unique mandala glass painting workshop where you can learn how to paint your very own Fairy Light Bottles and Glass Jar Tealight Holders. Turn these simple everyday household items into beautiful artwork that will be the centre of attention in your home. You will learn how to design mandalas in a few simple steps. You will be provided with a choice of bottles and glasses, dotting tool sets and a large selection of acrylic glass paints. You’ll be going home with a completely new artistic skill

About the workshop:

– You’ll learn the use of enamel/glass acrylic paint, dotting tools and everything else you’d need to prepare and paint glass.

– We’ll start with one bottle with fairy lights and one jar with a candle to paint on. If there is time you can paint more bottles or jars.

– You’ll learn how to paint free-handed without the help of a stencil to guide you.

– And of course there’ll be tea, coffee and cakes/ biscuits.
