Description:
If you’ve completed the Beginners Sewing workshop and/or have basic sewing experience then this is a great follow-on workshop focusing on soft furnishings.
As in the Beginners you will work with a sample folder building up samples for future reference.
We will look at various curtain styles and finishes, tie backs, valences, tracks and finishes. Working with lining, how to make Roman blinds, cushion finishes, kitchen accessories, appliance covers, table top makes and fabric storage baskets.
You will then select a pattern and fabric to make an item for your home. You can make a tabletop item, appliance cover, storage basket, oven glove or mitten, pot holders or peg bag.
The reference folder is yours to take home along with your samples for easy reference so you can keep creating.

All materials, equipment, and sewing machines are provided.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided by The Foxlowe Café.
Skills level:
Suitable for anyone who has completed the Beginner’s sewing workshop or who has a little sewing experience on a machine.
